This class is going to cover the basic aspects of carrying a defensive handgun. ***See pre-requisites below***

We will have a 1 hour lunch break. Class starts at 900 and runs until 1700 (5:00pm).

- Fundamentals

- Reloads

- Clearing malfunctions

- Holster selection and fit

- Firearms selection

 

Required Kit:

- Wrap around Eye Protection

- Ear protection (electronic preferred)

- Baseball style hat

- Range food / WATER

- Seasonal weather gear / rain gear (class will only be rescheduled for severe weather ie., lightning, high winds, heavy rain)

- Production Handgun, preferably 10 round capacity or higher

- Single stacks are fine, just need to increase magazine count to 8 minimum

- Holster

- 4 high capacity magazines MINIMUM 

- 100 rounds of factory ammunition

- Cleaning kit / lubrication

** Holsters MUST be capable of holstering without use of the support hand. Old leather pancake style or inside the waistband holsters that do not retain their opening when the handgun is removed are NOT permitted.

** Shoulder rigs ARE NOT permitted ** ** SERPA holsters ARE NOT permitted **

***An online carry voucher or a valid carry permit in the state where the course is held is a prerequisite.***
